The preview of the show was aired on 30/11/2007 and 1/12/2007. The judges, KUNAL GANJAWALA, PRITAM and SHREYA GHOSHAL, hosted the show. The 12 participants ranging from 8-14 yrs were absolutely wonderful with very good voices.

Its great that we r having a show for kids in star voice of india.chottey ustaads was aired using the judges, since theyhad not found an anchor as yet.It was announced in the papers that Abhaas joshi would b hosting the show.good choice ...tho we will miss shaan terribly.
All the 12 participants they selected were good...and i ahve already developed a soft corner, after just one episode, for soniya ,aishwarya,alpansh,abeer..and a couple of others.the kids are superb and what confidence.its amazing, esp soniya.
hope the producers and judges dont make a mockery of the show like last time.it would have long term effects on the childrens psyche.

I am sorry, I will not be able to actively contribute on the blog for two reasons:a)I am not really into watching kids programmes on TV (im sure they are all awesome talents, but I just do not have the time bandwidth to do so!!) and secondly the quality of debate on the VOI blog was so third rate that it has put me off blogs on reality shows.Also, the blogs that discuss reality shows, just add to the publicity of these shows , thereby making crooks like Gajendra Singh and Star rich! I would much rather see a zippy, zany, high on content and humour blog that discusses ALL music as opposed to just one reality show.
Sorry if I am being a wet blanket!
In any case, I will drop by for sure every now and then to enjoy all the wonderful effort that you folks are taking!

P.S:I do hope that Ishmeet is not on the show in any form, not because I have a problem with Ishmeet, but because I have a serious problem with his band of fanatic supporters!:-)
