I don't know...but I felt that the whole Aish-Anwesha thning may be Gajendra Singh's scripted stuff. I don't know for sure though. But if it is not, this is not good for none of them.
Anwesha and Aishwarya - you two are the future of this Music industry. Please be mature and be professional. You should handle the situation like professionals like how you two sing.
We love you both and want to see you singing forever...
To me, now its time for Vyom and Prakriti to leave. The girl trio should be in the final. Will it be the same rule in choosing the winner in the final? Otherwise, Prakriti has to leave before final. If she is in the final and judges rule does not work, then undoubtedly Prakriti is the champion for sure. Judges should know that they do have just 2 more episodes to choose the best three.
I agree with Do Svidaniya that Anwesha might have some issues with her throat though she did not tell (which is truly professional).

I am so tempted to go the same route as you guys have already embarked upon. Today's episode revealed Aish's vengeful side. Her steely glances, serious countenance and disappeared smile was scary to say the least.
I am still holding my judgement though. It is extremely possible that this is a scripted thing. I will wait for a few episodes to be completely sure..
Till then, I will not protest, just listen quietly :)
I think Prakriti's performance is missing.
As usual Anwesha is the best. Didn't like anyone today. Soniya wasn't good today. I thot she'll do good.

I did observe the way Aish made faces when Anwesha's mom commented. Saw her true color today. Cud feel that she is green with envy. No offence guys. I just don't seem to like her these days.
I am waiting for the challenger episode. As shreya mentioned, these kids are kinda trained now with all the practise and all. So this challenger is required. But i have no idea how good the challenger is gonna be. Can he/she outperform Anwesha? That is still a big question mark?????

Prakriti reminds me of Sanjaya of American Idol(07). All desi's used to vote and promote him...even i used to vote (lol!!!)...same way she gets loyal vote from her people..
After so many days it was nice to see Ishmeet singing along with children. So Gaj hasent forgotten Ishmeet, but dint mention his name. That is bad.
Anvesha is good- but what was the need for her to get all the bong celebrities pleading for votes for her.This means she is not sure about her talent. What we saw yesterday was display of shameless regionalism. By doing this Anvesha has paved the way for her early exit.Atleast I and many other people wont be votong for her.
Anvesha, by asking for purely regional vote you have sealed your fate in the show. Mark my words, Anvesha is the next person to be eliminated.
Anvesha must learn from Ishmeet who never ever asked for regional votes and always appealed to the whole country for votes. Arshpreet who used to ask for votes in punjabi was eliminated soon. People dont like contestants who make regional and emotional appeals. Have faith in your talent like Ishmeet had, then sky is the limit for you.
I was quite impressed with Aishwarya yesterday. Her voice quality is awesome. For me Aishwarya is the clear winner. Others are no where near her.
Judges were a little too harsh on innocent Prakriti yesterday.
I foresee an Aishwarya-Prakriti final.
What was all that controversy in the beginning of the show. Is Gajendra Singh introducing new contestants in the show. If that is the case, it will be quite unfair for these existing 5 kids. Mr Gajendra Singh just wants to make more and more money by increasing the number of episodes.

i too feel that here people are making harsh remarks on aishwarya. May be the reason behind this is not her singing, its the facial expressions she is making.
For me she is still among top 2. Though she sound more monotonous these days. not much variation. But she is there in my list. I did not like people ranking her behind soniya/vyom/prakriti. appreciate anwesha, but dont overlook other singer. I love her singing, but my votes are always with anwesha.

I was about to write this post about how I have been feeling ever since I saw that entire drama on Chhote Ustad. I did not like one bit how two kids were dragged into it. If it was done as a build up to the dueling Qawwali, I'm not sure, but it has affected me profoundly.
One of the main reasons for me looking forward to this show was the overall camaraderie in this show (and Anwesha, ofcourse).
I never felt that Aish and Anwesha had any bad vibes going on between them. It was beautiful to see them challenging each other to sing better. That changed today with some cock and bull controversy that GajJi created. It was all so contrived.
Same has happened on this blog.
I might have been the guilty party to have come up with such a statement regarding Soniya, earlier, but that was a casual statement which was blown out of proportion.
However, what's currently happening on this blog is totally unnecessary.
We're trying to dissect someone's voice so much that it almost feels like an operation theater in here.
I would probably not write about the competition for sometime. I will concentrate on the 70s songs list for before I feel like writing again. I will be on Kalyani's and Rishi's other blog. I need to take my mind off this unwanted and totally uncalled for issue that was raised in Chhote Ustad today.

all of us have expressed in diff. words where we feel ash is lacking in singing...sweet voice,good expressions,that's all.why should we hype her up when my heart tells me there's nothing extraordinary there? It is a great experience for me. I feel privileged to be part of such a show and I don’t have words to describe my feelings. I am having immense fun out here with all the other participants.
Who is your toughest competitor?
All the participants are amazing in their own way. But if I have to single out the toughest competitors, it would be Anvesha and Soniya. They both possess unique and different voices.
There is a new concept being introduced in the show of bringing in an additional singer to challenge you’ll. What are your views on this concept?
It is a very good concept. And we have absolutely no problem with a new challenger being introduced at this stage. We have reached a stage where we all are confident of our voices and ready to face any new challenge.
But there was news about all of you protesting against the entry of the challenger. Is it true?
Well we were a little upset with this new concept to begin with. We had struggled quite a lot to reach to this level and felt it was unfair that a new face was gaining entry directly to the top six. But the whole concept of wearing a black wrist band and protesting on the new entry was scripted and we were asked to do it.
So who is a tougher competition for you, your fellow participants or the new challenger?
All the participants for the challenger are very good. It is definitely going to be a tough competition now with a new face.
And who among the singers are capable of being the potential challenger and enter Chhote Ustaad?
Rigveda and Sanchita are very good singers.
It is usually seen in reality shows that the girls are the first ones to be eliminated; how does it feel being a potential candidate to win Chhote Ustaad?
Well the guys are definitely good singers, but I guess we are just better. And I am very proud to be a girl.
You recently sung a song in Dill Mill Gaye; how was that experience?
Yes, I sung a song for the main lead Riddhima. I felt very lucky to be a part of Dill Mill Gaye because it is one of my favorite shows. I was thrilled when offered this opportunity and informed Anvesha, who is my best friend, and she encouraged me a lot.
What are your plans for the future, irrespective of whether you win or not?
The same as it has always been; to be a successful playback singer and sing for the leading ladies in Bollywood.

Your anvesha is good, but aishwarya is much better. I am not bothered by what this blog thinls about her. I go by a singer's voice quality. So she is awesome.Others are no where near her.
Even in the final Qawali Aishwarya totally outclassed Anvesha. Nilakshi you should be happy as Aishwarya is also a bong girl settled in Ahmedabad.

Nilakshi, you say Arshpreet was your favourite, you would not hv been saying so had she been winning the contest. She used to appeal for votes in Punjabi. But the Punjab voters being nationalist voted for Ishmeet who made an appeal to the whole nation in Hindi. Ishmeet dint bring in Punjabi celebrities to forward his cause like Anvesha is bringing.
Celebrities making regional appeals does not make for good viewing.. Even Harshit had brought in Prem Kishen- the bhojpuri actor. Genuine singers like Ishmeet rely only on their talent and do not get celebrities to forward their cause.

Hmm...am not even sure if its true. mayb star plus is using such things 2 raise their TRP's such as we have seen the trend in last yr's adult reality shows like arshpreet-harshit, chang-deepali n amanat-sumedha etc. Anyway i wish they wouldn't do it here as this is a kids show n the viwesrhip not just 4 18 n above. however i have never noticed any such thing. Anvesha is 2 much involved in her music.
dey r just 14 yrs old n adolescent crushes do not usually take on such magnitude(at least not when i was 14 sum 8 yrs back i don't know if things have changed)

yes i also think the so called tiff between Anwesha & Aishwarya has been scripted..i think they are good friends in real life. And we are all here to enjoy the sweet music rendered by all the contestants and should not blame or criticize any of them..they are all good in their own particular way..

I saw both the episodes.
Anwesha as usual was topper followed by Aish (Kayani is squirming in her seat I know).
Loudspeaker Sonya is definately not 9 or 10. I saw AV where her supporters are giving their support and comments. In this , some of her schoolmates are seen as saying Sonya Didi ...etc. Now these girls are definately nothing less than 12 year olds as per my experienced eye. This makes the Loudspeaker Sonya more than 12. I would put her age at 13 if not 14.
I heard about Aish and Anwesha crossing swords. This is pure bollock and cock and bull story.
It is as true as children tying black band as protest about challengers coming to the scene.
Gajji is trying to create controversies and playinbg regional cards to increase the voting income from SMS and phones. I suspect that he does not take into account Internet votes.

As per my information, you can vote from US through internet only. I must point out here that:
20 internet votes = 1 vote through SMS (obviously it is all money game)
In case you want to vote through SMS then you will have to send money to your relatives (as Kalyani suggested) so that they can vote on your behalf.
Basically, why they have different numbers for sending SMS for each mobile operator? Kisse operator se kitna share Gajji ko lena hai- counting become easy na.
He has entered into contracts with all these operators in India.
I am quite doubtful whether any such arrangement has been made with foreign cellular operators in so many countries.

Aishwarya ko le kar itna jhagda kar liya aapas me? Gajendraji yehi to chahte hain (as the number of contestants have reduced from 12 to 5, so SMS ka total number reduce hone laga hai) That is why the controversy of animosity between the two As was brought and wearing the black band by contestants etc.
I remember Neelakshi once wrote - Kids are just kids. So why get dragged into such arguments that Aish is scheming or jealous or whatever. Kids are kids. Yeh jealousy and chalaaki to bachcho me matured hone ke baad aati hai- when they become adults like us. These traits are found only in adults. IMHO, Kalyani or Neelakshi never wrote about such traits as far as Aishwarya is concerned. Kalyani wrote ki "bas uskaa gaana dil ko chhoona band kar diya" and Neelakshi wrote "she chooses easy songs". Nikkie wrote something about Aish making faces when Anwesha's mom was speaking. It all started thereafter.
It however appeared from Kalyani's apology that many people have been hurt in the process both from the gals' side and from the guys' side. Main kisi ki side nahi lunga as I am in between (uff did it sound I am something else?) lol.... I mean main neutral hu.. uff again sounds like that..anyway baat samajh gaye na bhaiyo and bahno!! main kya kahna chah raha hu?

I m not a very regular reader of ur blog & even lesser comment writer, but when ever i can manage, I do atleast try to read ur views.
I must say some r real nice ones close to heart, but i would like to say one thing, without naming anyone in particular.
U all have every right to have ur own favourable participants but please don't be biased against/for anyone just b'coz particular participant was lucky enough to get a the chance to sing in live shows abroad/ any title song for tv shows/ or any other reality shows on regional tv.
however any information about the participants ( like extracts of Ash's interview by Kalyani) r most welcome.It was very touching.
Im sure there is no problem b/w Ash and Anwesha. this is all Gajji's trick to get more votes. It seems he is getting very less profit on Anwesha's presence (that's coz less votes the girl is always in scary land) and he is made up this sort of story to attract our attention. Also he got three tv stars asking for votes for Anwesha WHEN THEY WERE NOT PRESENT IN THAT EPISODE . Why were they showed? FOR VOTES HENCE MONEY.
Otherwise, if both participants (very wisely and professionally) and their parents had nothing to say, Gajji should have edited the part out. Or more appropriately why should Abhaas at all raise the topic?
SIMPLY TO GET ATTENTION OF VIEWERS,THEN VOTES AND HENCE MONEY.
I heartly share the view of bloggers that if good participants r in scary land we r lucky to be able to hear them twice in the episode, provided one of the scary land participant is the one who should be eleminated.
This time it should either be Vyom or prakiti. Ash Anwesha and Sonia r definately yop three (not necessarily in this order).

Oh - it was way too aparent that the supposed problem between Aishwarya and Anwesha was completely scripted to make the 2 girls pit against each other for the final qawwali... I think, that even without the drama - the girls would still have emoted equally well in the qawwali, that I personally thought was the highlight of the Saturday episode.. Thanks to the show for making the 2 girls sing the same song and yet again making it more apparent to the viewers who is the brighter talent between the 2... Anwesha clearly stood out with her attempting the Lata Mangeshkar vocals and hence the tougher part of the songs... Was it intentional on Aishwarya's part to sing the song with a nasal tone to get the Shamshad Begum impact.. probably...
As for the normal qawwalli round, Anwesha came out top as usual, though I tend to agree with the judges that even hers did not have the perfect feel of the qawwalli... Aishwarya and Soniya were the ones who actually dissapointed me the most on Saturday... It was Soniya's homeground genre.. She selected a song tailormade for her, and yet could not do justice... Perhaps the pressure to perform is rising high on all the kids!!

Last week, Chhotey Ustad -Voice of India anchor Aabhas Joshi collapsed on the sets recently. Joshi had been asked by his production house (Saibaba Telefilms) and the channel to go on a diet in order to lose weight. Unable to take the rigour of the diet, he finally fainted on the sets one day.
Says an eyewitness, "It took quite some time to get Aabhas back to his feet. Thankfully, his mother was present on the sets so she took care of him."
However, Aabhas chooses to blame it on jaundice which he is suffering from since the last few days. He says, "I had to shoot despite my ill health as I am the solo anchor and don't have a choice. I'm trying to do my best"
However, when quizzed about the diet he was asked to follow by the channel and production house of Chhotey Ustad, Aabhas says, "There was no time to follow the weight loss regime. I was also asked to attend the gym but was unable to do it because of my hectic schedules of Chhotey Ustad."
